I’m Heather Alter, an FNP who specializes in foot and nail care with over 25 years of experience in health care. I became foot and nail certified in 2010 when I discovered the growing problem in healthcare where people are not getting the foot care they need. From insurance issues and long wait times for an appointment, or the inability to travel to a clinic to begin with, there are barriers preventing patients from receiving the quality foot care they deserve.
